Day-dreaming is why I can't get bored. I explore fantasies, story lines, problem solutions, responses to other people's posts, old memories... and the Venn diagram of the above is an awful mishmash. Often from one minute to the next.

Yes, it stops boredom for sure. What I like best about it is that it just happens. I don't have to conjure it or control it or even be aware of it. But some of my best ideas have come from daydreaming.

yes and not only day dreaming but exploring wherever your mind takes you like being on a safari / not even worrying about holding on to to the thread / sometimes i forget where i started out : ) but i definitely learn a lot / google maps and wikipedia are great companions

Yes, daydreamers seem never to stop looking for something new to interest them. They're more likely to become creatives, I think. I wonder if, say, accountants are daydreamers?
