On New Beginnings
The country girl has moved to the city. An Aldi within walking distance! Almost...
Hi my Everlastings, I’m moved in but I’m not nearly settled. That could be a while! But I’m sitting at my desk in my new office and the rest of the U-Haul boxes can just wait. l wrote about the past week’s events over at Constant Commoner, so rather than repeat myself I’ll just direct you there. (Take a look around while you’re at it. You can always subscribe to both… ❤️)
I’ll be looking for the literary community here, I think, and I see the local paper is open to opinion submissions, so I may take a stab at that, too. So far so good—nice neighbors and a truly helpful maintenance crew and office staff.
I’ll be back writing here soon, I promise. Happy May!
That’s so neat that you’re moving your Petoskey! I’m in Cross Village but I spend a lot of time in Petoskey since, as you know, there’s not much happening in Cross Village. I do know of some literary opportunities in Petoskey and I would live to share them with you. One opportunity in particular I think might be a good fit. Welcome to the area!!
Aldi isn't bad! I like that you can get in there and out pretty quickly, and you can generally find everything you need. Congrats on getting settled (ish).
